Please consult neurologist to evaluate possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
It will help to know if you are experiencing these symptoms recently or have had them for years. Such a problem is rare in occurrence but not unheard of. There are few possibilities as below

(i) Situational syncope
In this case the situation of laughing causes a strain on your autonomic nervous system and this will precipitate a fainting or loss of balance episode.

(ii) Congenital conditions like Chari malformation
This is a condition by birth where in the cerebellum is pushed in to the spinal cord area and this usually not serious but can cause a strain while laughing which then causes symptoms like fainting, imbalance, hearing problems and headaches and other symptoms.

It will help to consult a neurologist and get a complete clinical examination done with imaging if required and this will help understand your symptoms clearly. If this problem started after medications or changing them then that is also to be discussed with your doctors.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Please find details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in with an update.

My observations are the following.

1. Blurring vision can also be experienced by the above mentioned conditions.

2. If your symptoms started after taking the blood pressure medications then this requires discussion with your treating doctors. If you can write the name of the medications you take for blood pressure and the dosage then I can discuss further on this point.

3. At the moment it is important to consult a neurologist and get examined clinically to evaluate any other serious causes which might be related to increased brain pressure during laughing.

4. As there are quite a few causes and since I am unable to examine you clinically, pointing out any exact condition is not possible.

Hope your query is answered.
