What Causes Incomplete And Persistent Yawning?

Question: I cannot complete a yawn and I have the urge to yawn all day and night.

This is very weird symptom.
But electrolyte disturbances can cause similar symptom.
So better to get done sodium and potassium levels and if Deficiency than you may need supplements.
Also tell me few things.
1. Do you smoke?
2. Do you take sound sleep?
3. What are your working hours?

I do not smoke. I fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly. I have had a cough for a few weeks and recently have had a hard time catching my breath too.

Since you are having cough and breathing difficulty, better to get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule infection.
PFT is needed to rule out bronchitis.
