What Causes Increase In QRS Duration From 108ms To 122ms?

Question: Hi,

I am a 27 year old male. 71 inches and 157 lbs. My parent are both in their 60's in good health overall. Mom has high blood pressure as an onset from stress, hypothyroid I believe, and gilberts syndrom. My father has type 2 diabeties and as far as I know that is it. As far as myself I have an incomplete rbb trivial mitrial and tricuspid regurgitation, palipitations and pinpoint chest pai. I've had 5 ECG's over the past 1-2 months, a doppler ultrasound, and stress test. My cardiologist was everything looks good and there aren't any problems with my heart. As for the pinpoint chest pains they think its likely gerd or One of my questions is it seems like my QRS duration has increased from april 11th up until recently from 108ms to 122. I'm not sure if that number is averaged or if the highest number is recorded. Is that any concern or possible to change or reverse itself?

Secondly, I've had concerns about blood clots coming from a sedentary lifestyle working from home and doing computer work. I got up from my desk to make good, walk around, or go to the bathroom. Since switching jobs C(the last few months) I have been walking for a half hour a few nights a week regular and keep my legs moving when I can. That may not be related to anything or a concern. I have been worried about blockages or anything of that sort just between the chest pains occasionally that are brief or sometimes feeling weird exercising. I do not smoke and rarely drink (10< times a year minimally)

My main question/concern at this time is I had gone up a flight of stairs (15 or so) skipping steps and naturally my heart is beating forcefully at the top. On occasion or more seldom I should say, after going up the stairs the right side of my neck will feel like a negative pressure or blocked if that's an appropriate word. The feeling runs from the back of my right nostril to the right side of my neck where my pulse is. It like if you could put pressure with your hand against it where I'm not sure if I'm getting air in that side of my nose. I do have allergies and am slightly stuffy despite my nose being clear for now. I may have a slight sinus infection because I have spit up a small amount of yellow/dark yellow mucus. My right side feels worse comparatively to my left. I wanted to ask if that feeling is likely from my sinus after spontaneous exertion to climb the steps due to mucus or should I be concerned of a carotid blockages or build up? I did not feel pain and I don't recall being light headed. I just remember my heart pounding after skipping up the steps and that pressure in my neck and subsided briefly (within 2 minutes) and didn't feel it since or going back up steps.

I've been overly concerned about things due to finding out my heart related info recently despite them not being worried. I'm not looking to run into any surprises or instances where I should have seen a dr. I will be getting my first primary tomorrow. I recently moved and am getting established in this new area.

Thank you for your time in responding and looking into this to advise me.

Brief Answer:
you need not worry about heart disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello,Young man Mr, XXXX,
I am Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
Thanks for using HCM.
I have gone through your query.First of all you deserve compliments for narrating your case history so well.
Lets first discuss about your chest pain and IRBBB.looking at serial ECGs and stress test your heart is no way cause of worry.Trivial Mitral and Tricuspid regurgitation are not significant .IRBBB is not significant in your case as your stress test is normal and you have no structural heart disease .QRS duration too does not need attention as other relevant tests are normal.so rest assure that you do not have serious heart problem.
coming to your sinus problem and complaints while going flight up stairs,
this is appears due to your sinusitis part, many a times congestion in nostrils is unequal on both sides, which can explain difference of your symptoms on left and right side and that difference is exaggerated with exertion creating increased intranasal pressure.Racing of heart with such exercise is natural,
so i suggest to focus on your sinus part, chances of carotid blocks too are remote, because of young age,no hyperlipidemia and absence of smoking.
So young man focus on allergy and sinus part and don't worry about your heart,
My best wishes
