What Causes Increase In Symptoms While Suffering From Vestibulodynia?

Olive Fruit Oil
Avocado Fruit Oil
Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil
Beeswax
Organic Honey
After using this, my symptoms (burning pain) increased dramatically.
Could it be some kind of allergic reaction?
Do you think I worsened the Vestibulodynia?
What should I do, the pain is terrible!
Help!
Wash it off thoroughly.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
An increase in the burning after using the cream can be due to an allergic reaction or due to a counter irritant property of the cream. The burning can be decreased by washing the area thoroughly to remove the cream with the help of a vaginal;m wash. Apply a moisturizing gel like aloe vera gel for soothing the area and repairing the damaged mucosa.
Applying an ice pack on the area will help in reducing the burning and will cause a numbing sensation. For a longer lasting effect you can use local lignocaine ointment.
The pain and burning are likely to decrease in next few hours. It has not caused any permanent damage to your vestibulodyia. Please do not worry.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

It has now been 4 days since the cream was applied and the burning pain is still there. I’ve also had XXXXXXX discharges for a few days, mostly white so I tried fluconazole. Ice numbs the area but afterwards the burning comes back. The area does not look red, do you still think it could be a reaction? How long should I wait and what would be the next step?
Regards
Can be due to inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The persistent burning pain even after 4 days is likely to be due to a local inflammation in the area caused by the cream. The worsening of vestibulodynia does not seem likely as it is more of a nerve related process.
To decrease the inflammation you can apply 1% hydrocortisone ointment available over the counter. It is best to wait for 2-3 days more and in case the burning persists then do consult your gynecologist for a direct examination to detect any visible local lesions.
Hope my answer is helpful.
Do accept my answer in case there are no further queries.

Pea size amount twice a day.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
You can apply a pea size amount of ointment twice a day. In case you get a stronger preparation you can decrease the amount and dilute it equally with any emollient like aloe vera gel or a moisturizer and apply it twice a day.
Regards.
