Brief Answer:
Muscular pain likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
A pain in the leg that increases on stretching is likely to be a muscular pain. It can be due to a muscle spasm or a referred pain due to degenerative changes in the spine. Usually such pain subsides with rest, stretching and mild pain killers. Doing a hot compress will also help. You can apply a local analgesic gel for relief.
I hope this answers your query.
