Question: I am a reasonably healthy 57 yr old Type A financially successful male, married 37 years. My sex drive has always been high -- fortunately my wife was OK 3-4 times week. Over the last 5 years, especially last 2 years, my sex drive has just exploded and drives my every thought and action. I want/need sex at least daily, and usually 2x/day on weekends. My wife completely rejects this and has pulled away. I have serious issues and will masturbate if my wife is not willing. I can't seem to enjoy life or even a weekend - I just want more sex, and more kinds of sex. It is hurting my marriage, my mental health, and its depressing me. I am horny! I WANT sex, I don't want a pill to kill my sex drive.

It is common for persons to have peak sex drive at certain ages and it is completely normal .
And also masturbation is absolutely normal and even married men usually masturbate during his partners menstrual period as it won't affect anybody and relieves the urge of sexual excitement.
As you have good sexual experience in past with your partner and successful marriage life ,speak out with your partner and make her understand your situation. Most worry solves here , if she hesitates don't force her to have sex , since it might make her dissatisfied and make the sexual experience even worse.
Make the surroundings pleasant and try to show more care towards your wife , it will automatically make her mind towards yourself .
Make her enjoy the intercourse which will also drove her into sexual act .
