What Causes Increased Vaginal Discharge, Frequent Urination And Tiredness?
Question: hi i think i may be pregnant i have irregular periods so it doesn't really bother me but i have been have a strange increase in a water like discharge all day everyday for the past 4-5 days it gets so bad that even in inside of my bum gets wet. I have been urinating regularly and am always tired. i took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. the first time my fiance cam in was 2 weeks ago the last 2 days ago. could i be pregnant and is it normal to be so wet.

Increased vaginal homogenous discharge especially noticed after few days of intercourse and is accompanied by increased urination frequency with increased tiredness indicates an infection. If the discharge is colourless, homogenous and not accompanied with itching but has a fishy odour, then it is more likely to be bacterial vaginosis.
It is suggested that you should get a high vaginal swab test culture done to rule out bacterial vaginosis, which shall be classically diagnosed by presence of clue cells in culture.It is commonly seen in sexually active woman and is often transferred from the partner. Nevertheless it can be easily treated with a course of antibiotics for a week especially clindamycin which is an effective drug of the same.
There can be various other causes for a clear discharge like due to sexual arousal or possibly increased physiological cervical mucoid discharge which can be considered normal. But in your case, it seems to be bacterial vaginosis and deserves an evaluation.
