Presence of insomnia is common complaint with diabetes as increased blood sugar level affects brain and causes disruption of normal functioning of brain.

I think you need to visit doctor first to get a CT scan of brain to know how it is affected and get prescription for sleep problem.

I also like to inform you that almost every medicine used for sleep problem is prescription only medicine and can be purchased with valid prescription from local doctor.
