What Causes Intense Dizzy Spells, Skipped Heartbeats, Burping, Increased Urination At Night And Excessive Sweating?
Question: Hi. for the past week I've had intense dizzy spells off and on, felt my heart skip a beat 10 times per minute, felt like I needed to burp but couldn't once, increased urination at night and woken up at night a little sweaty. about 3 years ago I had an angiogram during a cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram, nuclear stress test and an ultrasound of my heart and all came out fine. I also had a normal EKG last week. could the symptoms I described above still be heart related or is 3 years recent enough to rule out heart trouble?
Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I would like to tell you that from as your Angiography was done just 3 years back so from coronary artery disease point of view there is nothing to worry.
The symptoms of skipping a heartbeat could be something related to rhythm abnormalities which should be evaluated.
So it’s advisable that you should consult a cardiologist personally and get one Holter monitoring done so that any intermittent ongoing rhythm abnormality can be detected and then managed accordingly.
I hope this information will guide you properly.
