What Causes Intense Itching In Groin Area?

I started googling about the condition and all the hists for blisters in groin are redirecting me to genital herpes. I'm really very curios and nervous. Need your help to understand the situation in detail. I have attached the image as well for reference.
This is lichen simplex chronicus with furuncles, not genital herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
You don't have to worry as this is not herpes infection.
According to me you are having lichen simplex chronicus. It is a chronic type of eczematoid skin disease which is characterised by intense itching, darkening and thickening of the skin. It is commonly seen in atopic persons and emotional tensions play an important role in favouring the development of lichen simplex in predisposed persons.
The third image which you have uploaded is of furuncles which is bacterial infection of the skin and can occur in patients of lichen simplex because of continuous itching and scratching.
In such cases I recommend my patients to take antihistaminics like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg in the morning and tablet hydroxyzine 25 mg at bedtime. I also suggest them to apply highly potent corticosteroids like clobetasol propionate on the affected area twice daily daily. These medicines need to be continued for a long time as this is a chronic disease and will take time to resolve.
For furunculosis take oral and topical antibiotics. I suggest my patients to take cefixime or amoxicillin tablets for a week. For application use mupirocin or fusidic acid cream on the affected areas. This will resolve the infection in a week's time.
I hope to have answered your queries.
Wish you good luck.
