What Causes Intense Pain Around Right Collarbone?

Muscle spasm or injury, bone infection, arthritis, Fibromyalgia
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Thanks for the query.
This could be due to variety of conditions like muscle injury, Muscle spasm like in Fibromyalgia, bone disorders like infection, arthritis of the collar bone joints etc.
I would advise you to apply hot packs to the painful area take a pain killer muscle relaxant like Tablet Ibuprofen Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination twice a day. Apply pain killing gel like Volini gel. Avoid moving your shoulder around to the point where it hurts. I would recommend an Xray of the shoulder and collar bone region and cervical spine to rule out nerve pinching in the neck.
Avoid bending neck forwards, lifting heavy weights over the shoulders or using hands.
Try this for a week and if you don't find relief you could consult with an Orthopaedician or Rheumatologist for a checkup.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up.
Regards,
Dr. Aashish Raghu

Impingement syndrome, AC joint arthritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Yes, there should be elevated white cell count in infection.
Kindly get the Xray and ultrasound of AC joint and Rotator cuff to look for Impingement syndrome if you have difficulty in lifting the shoulder. Infection would also show up on Xray in many cases.
O hope I have answered your query.

Dr. Aashish Raghu
