What Causes Intense Pain At The Back Of The Heel Without Fracture, Not Relieved By Analgesics?
Still hurts like hell. Any ideas?
Medicines need some days to start full action and decrease inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
If you have done the X-ray and it was normal, then it is not possible to have a fracture, especially without trauma.
The pain is most probably coming from the tissues around.
It needs few days for the medicines to lower the inflammation.
You can add a Tylenol (Acetaminophen 3 times/day) together with Indomethacin, if only that does not help enough.
If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing your local doctor again who can reexamine you and understand what is going on.
Hope this is helpful.
