What Causes Intermittent Cough While Recovering From Viral Fever?

Question: Recently I suffered from a viral infection last week and now since last 5 days the fever has gone but there is some interim coughing that is not completely cured. Everyday I get a feeling that it will be fine the next day but some traces of cough are still there although in my morning gargles I do not get much of cough but I am not feeling 100 percent fit. Could you please advise what should be done to get well soon ASAP.
Brief Answer:
Viral infection takes time to subside.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Viral fever always leaves a post viral period of 2 to 3 weeks. Where you feel very fatigue, restless and tired. To over come this have plenty of liquids and water. Try taking rest at least for some time in a day. Have fresh fruits and vegetables along with some soups.
For cough you can take SYRUP. GRILINCTUS 5ml 3 times a day, for 5 days.
Any query do follow up.
Take care.
