Brief Answer:
Fever of unknown origin

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Your friend is suffering from intermittent fever since 7-8 days.As it appears ,she has been tested for malaria, typhoid, dengue fever and the reports are negative.Hence possibility of other cause of fever needs to be explored e.g urinary tract infection (UTI),as it is quite common in female .Please do Urine routine examination. Other tests which will be relevant are X-ray Chest PA View,Ultrasonography abdomen.A repeat Widal test for typhoid fever also can be undertaken to see any rise in titre.
A repeat thorough physical examination is needed to detect any fresh sign or clue e.g any lymph node enlargement .
As she is not responding to empirical Inj Monocef (Ceftriaxone) twice a day for last 4 days, any alteration in treatment will be dictated by any fresh finding clinically and on further investigation.
Discuss with her doctor.
