What Causes Intermittent Lightheadedness?
Question: Hello I am back for another opinion I have been having lightheadedness on and off for several weeks I have had the following tests
Echo ecg loop holter monitor and 24 hr blood pressure monitor as well as a stress test all came back normal my gp thinks it could be related to allergies or sinisus I have an appt with an ent and scheduled for a ct scan any thoughts

In view of our previous discussion, I would suggest you to go for a MRI brain instead of CT as that will be more helpful in your case.
Further, I would still suggest that anti-migraine medicines should be put on trial and observed for improvement in lightheadedness. These symptoms are common in Migraine.Trial of anti-migraine medicines will also be helpful for diagnosis.

Meanwhile, you can take Tab.amitriptyline 10 mg once a day at bedtime and Tab propranolol 20 mg once a day, and observe if improvement occurs.If you have severe headache, naproxen can be taken to abort the attack.
