What Causes Intermittent Lower Abdominal Pain And Breathlessness?
Antispasmodics should help
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. The pain appears to be of spasmodic nature.
2. During these spasms, you are feeling breathlessness at times.
3. Spasmodic pain could be in the Gut or renal system.
4. Dicyclomime or spasmoproxyvon or any antispasmodics should be helpful in relieving pain. 2-3 times daily should help.
5. Also you need to take antigastritis medications like omeprazole or pantoprazole as antispasmodics are known to induce gastritis.
As there is no difficulty in breathing normally, no respiratory system causes can be thought of.
If pain recurrs or persists, ultrasound abdomen and pelvis will be necessary to look for stones in renal tract or other causes in Gut.
Hope it helps.

Possibly not stomach ulcer.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for asking again.
I strongly doubt about a stomach ulcer, as it should not be related to posture. Stomach/ gastric/ duodenal ulcer is usually related to food intake. However, avoid spicy food and reduce stress.
If you are having an additional bloating feeling as well, we need to look into intestinal gas and if you are having any passing gas feeling. If you are passing gas more, it is possibly due to change in gut bacteria. You will need to take probiotics to replace the bacteria and also avoid bloating causing food like legumes or milk products. Hope you have no diarrhea.
In the mean time, you can take antispasmodics to reduce pain.
If it does not reduce, as I mentioned earlier, ultrasound abdomen to look for any possible pathologies, requires evaluation. Along with antispasmodics, do take omeprazole or pantoprazole to reduce gastritis.
Take plenty of water (atleast 5-6 liters of water per day) along with fiber diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
Hope it helps.
