Brief Answer:
Could be lymph nodes

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.

It sounds like you are having some respiratory infection symptoms. The coughing and sneezing can be the signs of a viral upper respiratory infection. Sometimes when you have this type a infection the lymph nodes swell up to help fight off the infection. There all lymph nodes under your arms so perhaps that is what is going on. The lymph nodes are part of your immune system and it is normal that they swell up to help you fight off infections.

I agree that you should see your doctor but don't worry. Take a multivitamin daily and some extra vitamin C. Drink lots of water and eat healthy food.

I hope you feel better soon

Brief Answer:
Depends

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your follow up.

It depends upon the kind of infection that you have. If if is felt to be sinusitis usually doxycycline or a sulfa drug is most often used. If tonsillitis usually penicillin type drug. If it is bronchitis doxycycline or augmentin is often used. However, if it is felt to be viral (like the flu) then antibiotics will not do anything and you just have to do supportive care until it passes.

I hope you are better soon.
