Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I am sorry for the situation you are in. With regards to the slight pain you feel on your right side, lower stomach, intermittent (goes away and comes back again), I need to have further information:
- is it after eating?
- do you feel to pass the motion when you got the pain?
- are you feeling bloated also?
- what about heartburn?
- any medication used on regular basis?
- any personal history of chronic illness?
- burning? pain? during urination?
I need to have these information to rule out bowel or urinary tract problems.
Looking forward to have the requested information in!

I do not have any of the symptoms that you asked me about. Just this pain. Some days I have it most of the day, sometimes just a little bit. I haven't been able to figure anything out consistent as to when or why it happens.
Brief Answer:
Most probably colitis as per your description....
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for providing the requested info.
Then, most probably your pain is related to your bowels (colitis). A further abdominal ultrasound and endoscopic examinations are advised.
I also advise to :
- avoid foods that would cause gas
- avoid fatty/oily/processed/sugary foods
- observe what foods? drinks? or other activity might trigger/relieve the pain
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- take probiotics to normalize intestinal flora
Hope it was of help!
