What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain Behind The Right Ear?

Question: Dear Doctor,
From Yesterday night i am having a intermittent sharp pain behind my right ear. This is predominant during urinating, peeing(Giving little pressure during release of urination & Peeing), turning my neck suddenly. Rest of the time it is normal.I had my masturbation yesterday after that these symptoms exist. I also had cold day before yesterday associated with more sneezing.

Can you pls state the reason for this pain behind my ears and medication to be taken

Dear Doctor,


As desired , I am hereby enclosing my ear images with surrounding area. Regarding medication i am taking vitamin tablets such as Trivit B1,B6,B12( Daily once) and vita D( weekly once).

I am experiecing this pain from yesterday night only.The pain is intermittent only as mentioned early. The cause may be due to muscle spam due to negative pressure or TMJ

I am having ibuprofen 400 mg with me. Can i try the same for this pain. kindly advise me on the same.

Thanks for the information.
The pictures attached doesn't show any swelling. The pain is probably due to temporomandibular joint. My advice is you should take ibuprofen twice daily and avoid chewing on hard things.
