Brief Answer:
Pregnancy, hormonal disturbances or local lesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism or due to local lesions in cervix or vagina including cervical cancer..
Please do specify whether you are sexually active or not. If yes, then do get your urine pregnancy test and if negative, then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including pap smear, hormonal profile and ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti Verma
