Hi XXXX
It could be incomplete abortion or vesicular mole.
Get examined by a gyne doctor for further evaluation.

I had a medical termination on the 5th of February 2015, I bled for about 3 weeks. I was experiencing some pain, went fo a&e a week aftee termination, they carried out some tests and said I didn't have an infection, they also carried out a pregnancy test which was still positive which was expecfed, although i didnt have an infectiom, they perscribed me some antibiotics just in case. They didnt really work, so about after a week, i decided to go and see my gp she then perscribed me a different set of antibiotics, she also took a swab, she said if antibiotics dont work i should return back to her about after a week. They didnt work, so i returned back after a week, swab confirmed no infevtion.
She then decided to refer me to a scan soecialist. She was not sure how long the wait would be, which annoyed me quite a lot.

So i went back to a&e a few days later, on this occasion a gyno finally decided to come down & see me. She gave me an examination, said everything appears to be normal, took another swab everything sermed fine. She said to me to put my mind at rest i should go to the early pregnancy unit, where they would offer me an internal pelvic examination, i was so relieved. I went to a&e on the 5th of march, then went to early pregnancy unit on ghe 6th of march.

They done the internal examination and there diagnosis was ' no retained products of contraception pist intervention. The endometrium appears thick but there was no evidence of retained oroducts on todays scan. This is reasuring, and no further follow uo has been arranged. However, if XXXXXXX has any irregular bleeding she should return to the clinic for another scan. For the last few days, if have had some discharge, & minior cramps similar to when my period is about to come. & very light brwnish colour on knickers could this mean that my period is getting ready to come, or do uou think i ahould go back to the early pregnancy unit ? . I will send you a picture, as im visually impaired not very good at explaining attention to detail stuff expeciAlly colors, forever running back and fourth to my mum. She thinks ifs normal, but she isnt a doctor.

If you coud please get back to me i will be most greatful

Brief Answer:
Kindly check the details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through the circumstances you have had for a couple of weeks following the termination of pregnancy.
In view of the detailed evaluation including pelvic examination, ultrasound, and two courses of antibiotics I am of the opinion that she has no complications as such due to termination of pregnancy.
It is more likely that her periods may take a bit more time to begin since periods get irregular following the termination of pregnancy.

She is advised to be followed up the gynec team in the future.
Best regards.
