What Causes Intermittent Sudden Sharp Pain In Chest Upon Exertion?

Cardiac cause should be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description , it appears to be a musculoskeletal problem e.g. costochondritis. However , a cardiac cause should always be ruled out in case of atypical chest pain by doing an EKG. If the EKG is normal, NSAIDs and muscle relaxants can be advised in consult with your doctor to treat the pain and inflammation. An x ray chest can also be advised to look for any rib fracture , if the pain is severe and there is associated tenderness on examination.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
