If prilosec is not working,you need to reduce on Whole grains and high cellulose Veg diet,mostly to purrees with digestants to add on it.
Understanding Causes-
It is the increased IBS activity due to increased bacterial food load,which is caused with prilosec,that causes the Atrial fib giving pounding heart.
You might have had heavy food loads overnight,causing all this Cardiac stress,which is suggestive of Coronary compromised supply.

Continue with Prilosec but would suggest to reduce its dose for 1 week
