Brief Answer:
Following advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

First of all, keep in mind that CT scan and ultrasoundtest are complementary examinations. The CT scan is more accurate in excluding serious gastrointestinal problems especially malignancies.

Secondly, CT scan, especially if it's done without contrast, isn't more accurate than ultrasound to evaluate liver fatty infiltration and biliary sludge.

This is why you should pay more attention to ultrasound results about biliary sludge and fatty liver infiltration.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

I have had grey/green stool could this be from the gallbladder sludge?

Brief Answer:
Gallbladder sludge hasn't a direct effect on stool color.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

The grey/green stool is more likely related to the type of food you have eaten and with intestinal transit. Gallbladder sludge hasn't a direct effect on stool color.

The pain you are experiencing is associated with gallbladder sludge. However, my opinion is that you should be scheduled for abdominal MRI to definitely confirm the diagnosis.

Wish you health!

So i went to the doctor and was told that it is gastritis. Im a little conserned because im having pain on upper left back and sometimes left abdomen. Do you think it can be gastritis? All my labs were normal from liver to pancreas. Total abdomenal ct scan with contrast and barrum was clear. Dont know what to do with this pain.

Brief Answer:
Please follow the explanations below,,,

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

If your doctor thinks that your situation is from gastritis than you can do upper endoscopy to rule out or confirm it.

Meantime I suggest to:
- use PPI's like Prilosec OTC to get relief from stomach pain
- use spasm ex to get relief from bowel and billiary tree spasms
- avoid fatty and spicy foods
- use plenty of water

If you have no improvement after a couple of days than you should do upper endoscopy and Abdominal MRI.

Wish you fats recovery!
