Question: I have a involuntary tremor in my right arm and hand, along with weaknesses in my. Shoulder, arm, and hand. Symptoms started after a fall on that shoulder. My neurologist says early Parkinson's. All systems started after fall. I also 8 months before fall broke my neck at c1.

I have noted your symptoms and I agree that the most likely diagnosis in your case is early Parkinson's disease (PD).

PD is known to start with involuntary tremors, affecting one side of body. After a period of 2-3 years, tremors develop on the opposite side too. Also, it is possible to voluntarily suppress the tremors in cases of PD.

Associated shoulder, arm & hand pain and weakness are common in people with PD.

The onset of symptoms after the fall on shoulder is coincidental and is not the cause of your symptoms.
