What Causes Irregular Menstruation After Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill?
Question: Hi. My partner had 3 morning after pills in 5 days around mid november. She has had one period since then and just now her second has come but she is feeling sore. Feels hot and cold. Stomach cramps fatigue and so on. She said she has never had a period like this. Also nauseous and feels like throwing up. Any help would be good. She is alittle anemic as well. Thank you
Brief Answer:
Pregnancy test advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, thanks for trusting health care magic
It is common to have irregular periods after emergency pill intake specially whiten taken in quick succession
Ask her to do a urine pregnancy test and if negative then nothing to worry
But she should opt a regular method for contraception in case wants to stay sexually active time and again.
