I have had swollen ankles, knees and hands and feel bloated .
Brief Answer:
Likely to stop in few days.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Since you have changed the birth control patch there can be some bleeding irregularities. The bleeding will gradually stop on its own if it is mild. In case the bleeding is heavy, then do consult a gynecologist for additional hormonal pills to control the bleeding.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to hormonal changes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The swelling all over the body can be related to hormonal changes or due to a systemic problem like renal problem, increased salt intake, increased laxative use, etc. You can wait for a few days and in case the swelling persists then do consult a physician or a few blood investigations.
Hope my answer is helpful.
