What Causes Irregular Menstruation Along With Stomach Cramps?

Question: I am 22 years old. the past two months I haven't had a normal period. I've been spotting light pink blood and only shows when I wipe. during these two months I've dealt with constant cramping, something like period cramps but not as bad. but the last two weeks I've been feeling cramping only in my left pelvic area right next to my hip. the more I stand and when I pick up heavy boxes or buckets, the more it cramps and makes my hip hurt throughout the day. today, I noticed that it feels like a lump in that area where it was cramping. it hurts the most when I'm sitting down since there's pressure being put on that spot. I set an appointment with an OBGYN on Monday but was wondering if anybody would know what it could possibly deal with or what these symptoms could be a sign of.
