What Causes Irritation And Itching On The Left Eye?

Question: Hello Doctor - My left eye is itching and is very irritating, its becoming red when i rub it and I couldnt avoid rubbing due to itchiness. FYI, I had lasik surgery 8 months back.

I am continuously using Lubricant eye drops. Could you please suggest any other over the counter medicine? I stay in USA.
