What Causes Irritation In The Respiratory Tract And Dark Urine?

Question: I am 61 years of age. 5'9" 167 pounds. I do weight resistance training 4 days a week and cardio 3 days. I woke up on Friday with what I felt like was irritation in my respiratory tract and a little run down. I wanted to take care of it right away so I went to the walk-in clinic. No fever, BP 106/80. (I don't take BP med,) The PA said I had fluid in my ears and irritation probably related to sinus type issue. I was given a steroid shot.
I remained fatigued that day and the next two. Difficult performing the tasks that I had. I noticed was urine was dark (although I do take vitamins that would darken it) and perhaps dehydrated. I found that my breathing was heavy during tasks. I feel at times that my heart was racing almost afib. Maybe I just need rest.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
What you are experiencing seems to be related to common flue, which is associated with nasal congestion, shortness of breath and fatigue.
The best thing to do in this settings is to avoid physical training and rest for a couple of days. Moreover I strongly recommend to drink plenty of water and to use nasal decongestant.
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
