What Causes Irritation On The Left Side Of Penile Glans?

Question: I have had an irration on the left side of my penile glans for 11 days now. I am not married, but I am sexually active and have had unprotected sex in the past few weeks...as well as protected.
My girlfriend had an IUD removed a few months back and in turn received a terrible yeast and bacterial infection. Since then I have had smerma on the tip of my penis about a month ago along with irratated foreskin (which went away in about 3 days) and now have had this "irritation" for 10 that I have tried curing with am over the counter steroroid cream, but with no luck. On fact it seems to me making it worse because now that area is mildly inflammed.
Could this be a yeast infection, STD, nerve damage, balantis? Searching the web has got me very concerned it's herpes, but it am not showing any of the symptoms. No sores, scabs, fever, chills, etc. I've just been under an enormous amount of stress and anxiety.
Pease help.

Brief Answer:
Which OTC steroid are you applying?
Detailed Answer:
Hello
As discussed with you previously it is most likely related to irritation or sensitivity to the topical preparations that you have been using. Kindly stop anti-fungal and neosporin. They might be causing sensitivity/irritation. Use lukewarm water for gentle cleansing. Stop using soaps, antiseptics etc.
Herpes is ruled out since there are no sores.
Which topical steroid have you been using and for how many days?
Upload me the most recent picture.

I have not been using neosporin, I have only been using the hydrocortisone and mild lotion. I have not used any soaps and have been washing my penis gently with a water using a wet towel...no soap.
The localized pain was there before the creams, which I will stop using, it is not improving. I am happy to hear it is not herpes, but it is frustrating when the localized pain moves from the left side of the glans to the top, and get red when I am in hot weather or sweaty from working out.
How long will this take to go away? Is there anything at all I can do to speed up the process? I haven't been masterbating or having sex since it occurred and it is causing my severe stress and anxiety as I mentioned.
Please help....

Brief Answer:
Use a higher potency steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hi
The skin over there is delicate, sensitive and gets easily irritated. If you can procure a mid-potent steroid e.g mometasone furoate cream and use it twice daily over that area, it would be great. Hydrocortisone is the mildest of all steroids and sometimes does'nt provide relief as expected. It would take longer as compared to potent steroids like mometasone.
Even mometasone would take a week or 10 days to effect, therefore you need to be patient.
