What Causes Itching All Over The Body During Pregnancy?

Question: My wife is 38 weeks 3 days pregnant. From last 1 week she is having excessive itching at whole body including feet, head, back, etc. Is it normal? What should be done for this?

This is normal. Itching is seen in many of pregnant women. This is not a serious problem.

There is no reason to worry. It happens due to variation in hormonal levels. If the itching is uncontrollable use calamine lotion to apply over the itching areas after consulting your doctor.
