What Causes Itching Along The Hairline And Neck Region While Having Scalp Psoriasis?

I use antihistamine cream by the tubsful and it just starts out of the blue. It may stay in one spot or may spread all over me. There is no redness, just the terrible itch. I was diagnosed with MS in 2003, and am hypothyroid, so I know my autoimmune system is off. I do take a lot of meds. Could this itching be psoriasis also, even with no redness? I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis about 7 years ago, but when I had to change Drs. due to my insurance and saw a new rheumatologist and was retested, she said I did not have rheumatoid but osteoarthritis. Any connection there or with psoriatic arthritis? I have also been anemic for about 3 years in spite of all the Vit B I am prescribed and B12 inj. I am miserable with this itching! Help!?
I have also noticed that my fingernails are very thin and seem to be splitting lengthwise. I am also forever fatigued. No energy. Always exhausted. Of course, at my age, my skin is very thin and tears and bruises daily. I just remembered at my last colonoscopy in 2015 I had 2 benign polyps. An EGD showed an ulceration and inflammation. I experienced during 2015 a loss of bowel control that was pretty extreme. Kept me home most of the time during that period. My Dr. thinks it was MS, especially since I have some loss of bladder control also. I have to admit I am living with a great deal of stress as my husband of 27 years abandoned me in 2011 a few days after we buried my daddy. We were caregivers to all our parents. Daddy was the last to pass. My husband me with nothing. No health insurance, no money, no home and moved to California. ( We lived in KY ). He sends me no support and I now live on my social security in subsidized housing with extra help from Medicare for my meds. I only say this to let you understand the kind of stress and anxiety I have lived with since 2011 (plus the 5 or 6 years of caregiving and losing all our parents in a fairly short period of time. I was with them all when they passed. I completely understand what this kind of anxiety and stress can do to a person, so I feel it could be important to my problems. Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I can understand the agony you are facing with such multiple problems . I was not able to get what exactly your query is . Anyways what I interpreted , plain itching is less likely due to psoriasis , but urticaria can give rise to such symptoms which can be fairly common with the diseases you have . Regarding psoriatic arthritis , yes it can be a possibility but you will need to tell the joints involved plus if you have any history of backache . Then we will see if there is a link . Also please post exact queries that you want to ask so that we can help you in best possible way .
Take care.

Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back.
Well psoriasis can also cause itching sometimes but it's not very common . Psoriatic arthritis does not lead to itching , it generally presents with swelling of big joints and backache . So if you don't have these symptoms then having psoriatic arthritis is unlikely . Have you considered urticaria as cause of itching as symptoms that you are giving can be because of that also .
