Brief Answer:
SUFFICIENT MEDICATION; DO ALLERGY TEST

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

Food allergy is a very common cause of sudden onset whole body itching and it is generally managed with antiallergics or antihistaminics and mild to moderate dosage of steroid. If patient presents to ER, we give initial injection shots and then ask to continue oral dosage. In minor cases, oral dosage is sufficient. Only in very severe cases, adrenaline injection is advised.
Your doctor has given omnacortil and levocetrizine which are steroids and antihistaminics only and work great in such conditions. I would advice you to continue the same. It will take another 2-3days maybe to get totally well.
Also you can apply lactocalamine solution locally over the itching places and rashes and get a skin allergy test done to get a hold of food and drugs she is allergic to and avoid further episodes.

Hope I have answered your question.

Brief Answer:
ITS UNFORTUNATE; CONTINUE MEDICATION

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Its unfortunate that she had to be rushed to ER and get steroid and anti allergic shots. However, continue oral dosage. I told you that it might take another 2-3 days. Wait for your paediatric doctor's review. And definitely get the allergy test done. Get a complete hemogram and IgE done too.

Wish her a speedy recovery.
Regards
