What Causes Itching And Redness On The Buttocks?

Question: Hello doc,
I have developed scaly skin in between my buttocks, it decelopes whitish dry and scaly skin.. The skin peels and its very itchy, sometimes it causes severe redness and soreness..

I treat such cases with a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for a month.

Thanks for the follow up and photograph.
It is fungal infection.
I treat such cases with a combination of oral and topical antifungal medication.
You can take capsule fluconazole 150 mg per week for 8 weeks and apply ointment clotrimazole twice daily for two months.
This prolonged treatment will help in permanent cure.
You can take these medicines in consultation with your doctor.
