Brief Answer:
It is allergic conjunctivitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

It seems from the history that you are having itching of the eyes associated with redness and watering of the eyes.
These symptoms indicate allergic condition of the eye in the form of allergic conjunctivitis.

The treatment is by use of anti-allergic eye drops. The medications you are using like opulex and flares eye drops is in right direction.
I think the eye drop is optrex and not opulex, it is a anti- allergic eye drop and it can be used for long time without any side effect. It contains sodium chromoglycate as active ingredient and if your symptoms are not relieved you can use anti allergy eye drops belonging to other category like olopatadine eye drops.
In allergic conditions usually treatment is required for long time and along with medical treatment exposure to any known allergen like dust, plant extracts, pollens... should be avoided. Washing the eyes with cold water provides symptomatic relief.

Flares is a steroid eye drop and it should not be used for long time because of associated side effects like steroid induced glaucoma, steroid induced cataract...
It has to be used only in acute symptomatic episodes under supervision of a eye doctor.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
The treatment is by use of anti-allergic eye drops

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up.

The presence of allergy to cold confirms the diagnosis of allergic conjunctivitis.
The treatment is by use of anti-allergic drugs.
You can use anti allergic eye drops which contain sodium cromoglycate or olopatadine two times per day.
Since you are having cold allergy also you can use anti allergic oral tablets along with the anti-allergic eye drops.

You need to continue the anti-allergic eye drops for 2-4 weeks to prevent recurrence of the symptoms.

Hope the information is useful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Ocurest-AH is a anti-llergic drug and can be used.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up.

Ocurest AH is a anti-allergic eye drop containing chlorpheniramine maleate a antihistamine and decongestant and it can be safely used no need to worry and you can continue it.
Since Flarex contains a steroid it has to be used with caution, hence do discuss with your doctor regarding the requirement of this eye drop.
Do consult your doctor for examination and prescription of drugs as required depending on the examination result.

Do get back to me with examination report and drugs prescribed.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
