Brief Answer:
Try Miconazole

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
It seems like you are having chronic fungal infection or Tinea of the trunk area.

I routinely suggests my patients to use Miconazole or Micogel ointment 2%. It comes as a cream, and costs you 19.5 INR per tube.

Use the cream twice daily on the affected areas in the morning and in the night. Make sure the ointment is present on the surface 24 hrs. Use the cream for a minimum of 3 weeks.

Let me tell you this - It takes very long time for the fungal infection or Tinea to go away. Also, it is known to recur. So complete the 3 weeks course of the cream.

Get well soon.

Brief Answer:
Continue Miconazole

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Yes, I got the area of issue. It is in the groin region. Yes, please continue to use the same ointment.

Stop using Nosoap lotion for some time. Once your symptoms are healed, then you can restart it.

Thank you so much in advance.Sorry to bother you mam. The affected area turned little black. May I know the reason. Is that due to fungal infection. There is nothing like ring worm kind. But the area became dry with little black. Thank you mam.

Brief Answer:
it is expected with micogel use

Detailed Answer:
hello,

Yes, for the initial few days of using Micogel, you will feel more itching. This is because the fungi are reacting to the ointment. This is a good sign. Continue to use the cream.

Colour change to black is also because of Micogel use. It says that the cream is working.

Apply it twice daily without fail for faster recovery.
