Detailed Answer:

Dear Madam,

Greetings from health care magic!!! I am Dr Thakker and shall be answering your question.

I can understand your concern for your husbands health. I will try my best to answer your question.

The following are the differentials for his condition:

Anal fissure

Anal haemorrhoids

Anal warts

Thread worm infection

Peri-anal abscess

Condyloma accuminata

I would suggest a local examination of the anal region with PR proctoscopy to know the exact cause. A scotch tape examination is helpful along with stool microscopy to rule out a thread worm infestation.

I would suggest a topical ointment with steroid and dlitiazem for symptomatic relief till then. Rules of the website prevent me from prescribing a particular drug.

I hope this helps you out. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to write back to me.

Yours sincerely,
Dr Thakker.
