What Causes Itching On Perineum While Urinating?
Yesterday around lunch time I noticed that when I went to pee I had an itching on my perineum. When I felt it there was a rash there. I used some triple antibiotic anointment on it yesterday afternoon and again last night but now it's itching more and the rash feels hard. I've taken a pic that I'm attaching. Advice?

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern and I will try to help you.
Except itching do you have any other symptoms like :
thick vaginal discharge
vaginal burning sensation
abdominal pain
If you haven't any mentioned symptoms ,than it is a PRURITUS ANI .
Most anal itching is
1.Idiopathic (the majority)
2.Hygiene-related
Too much cleansing, often with sanitary wipes and strong soaps, can be drying or irritating or occasionally cause a contact hypersensitivity reaction.
As per your picture it seems to be clear ,of any lesions .
Hence for the moment stop use of the ointment and have Sitz baths three to four times per day.
You can try and with over the counter creams that contain corticosteroides .
If itching doesn't pass with these tips then have a pelvic examination done .
All the best
Can you recommend the name of an ointment that has corticosteroides?
Hi,
You asked if there was a discharge and at first the answer was no. Now, it's not so much that there is a discharge but if I press against the lumps with toilet paper I get spots of reddish brown on it and the lumps get smaller for a few hours.
Does that change anything about your diagnosis? The problem is, I'm flying out of my country today for a 10 day trip so going to see a doctor in person is impossible.

For the moment have Sitz baths with polividone XXXXXXX and don't press them.
