What Causes Itching On The Legs And Upper Arms At Night?
Question: Hello
I am a 44 yr old women fairly healthy not over weight for the last 3 weeks I have noticed that my legs and upper arms get itchy but only at night ... I do have a bit of dry skin but nothing crazy ... I know it is not scabies or lice or bed bugs as my husband would have it as well as he doesn't ... I have seen a dermatologist but he didn't really seem concerned as there really are not bumps or rash I am waiting to see my gp because I want a second opinion but till then what would be ur suggestions

Brief Answer:
It could be skin allergy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I'm a pulmonologist and not a dermatologist but I deal with a lot of allergy issues.
The itchy feeling in your legs and arms also could be allergy.
Do you feel uncomfortable in dust and smoke?
I suggest you take a tablet of montair lc daily. You may stop using soap for a while and avoid dry skin by using a moisturiser.
Take care.
