What Causes Itching Sensation All Over Body?
I have 2 different questions. 1 sympton ongoing from that time and a new sympton, unrelated I think
1. Around the same time I begin to experience extreme itchiness underneath the top layer of my skin deeper in my body all over. I thought it was just because it was were having cold snaps at that time and my skin was dry, mit was intense. I used by body scrubs while taking the medicine because I thought itchiness was from dry skin, and then realized that it might be the medicine as I was finishing it. the pharmacist said it might be the medication still in my body or something else like a reaction to stress. I tried to go off the medication for a day I still experience sensation of itchiness.
2. I had sex last night and before tge 2nd time his penis was rubbed against my clitoris and maybe the part where urine comes out . Sex started out a little painful but passed. After when I went to the bathroom, it was painful as the urine was going out and after I urinate it seems like the area is warm and possibly swollen. Urinating has been painful ever since .
I have been seeing the same partner since late December and we have only been with each other. A few years ago, I've had a urinary tract infection with symptoms of wanting to urinate frequently and pain during urination. What I have now is not like that and I have no other pain or symptoms
Moisturizing creams, lotions, soaps will help in relieving itching
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Generalized itching all over the body is not related to any STD except that of a Genital Scabies.
Drug allergy usually manifests with rashes. So dry skin and cold atmosphere could be the most probable cause of your itching if there is no rash or patches. Instead of scrubbing, excessive applications of moisturizing creams or lotions and using soaps containing moisturizers along with anti-histamin will give relief from your problem.
2. Burning or pain during urination is possibly indicating urinary tract infection or urethritis due to STD or Non-STD causes and that can be confirmed by simple urinary examination.
Burning or pain after the act of urination with a woman likely to be due to excoriations or abrasions over the genitals either due to itching (various reasons), or caused during vigorous sex. A careful examination by a physician can fix the cause of pain with urination. Get checked yourself with the guidance of your physician for STD/HIV.
Try to stick to safe sex in future to avoid unnecessary problems.
Get well soon.
