Thanks for quick response !
- I am suffering from this around 1.5 weeks. I was initially using ring guard thinking that these are ring worms but that didn't helped.
- I have not seen it any-ware else on the body.
- The severity of the itching is moderate
- I have visited one dermatologist today and he has suggested to use Halvote-F cream but i have not started it yet, he has also suggested the "serum ige" test.
In addition to the above i have also gone through the laser removal of warts in my foot around three weeks back and the doctor gave me the following medicines:
Tab Lenofloc
T-Bact ointment
is this can be a side effect of this procedure ?
These eruptions are known as lichenoid eruptions. Do not scratch the area.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks a lot for sending the important details and related information.
After analyzing the details and the pictures I can make out the possibility of lichenoid eruptions in yourself.
To tell you simply- our skin is a multilayered structure and the skin gets renewed continuously and daily.
Whenever there is an injury to the skin by of friction or any contact allergy or related thing then the skin becomes bit inflamed to get reddish. These are simple wear a and tear process of skin which can occur at any site at any time. These are formed due to friction or trauma of mild nature. These eruptions are known as lichenoid eruptions.
Though the process is quite complicated to explain medically but I have tried to explain it in simple words.
I also reassure you that laser removal of warts in your foot and its related treatment has got no relationship with these eruptions.
Your doctor is correct in his observations and accordingly has given you right treatment. You can apply the Haolvate-F cream but do not apply it beyond 15 days.
There are additional of the suggestion below:
- Keep your self away from extreme of climate.
- Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments to be changed two times a day.
- Do not wear any synthetic or tight garments in touch with these area.
- Do not sit continuously for long hours.
- In my patients with itching I prefer to give oral anti histamine like Des-loratadine two times a day.
The most important part is not to scratch the area as is the sole most important factor to get earliest relief.
I hope these information will help you. I will be glad to reply any further queries.
