What Causes Itchy Feeling In Gums And Teeth On The Upper Right Side Of Mouth?
Question: I have an itchy feeling in my gums and teeth on the upper right side of my mouth. I also have a tingling or numb sensation in my lips on that side. It is very annoying. What could be the cause? My allergies have been miserable and unmanageable lately, I think because of using our air conditioners for the first time in a while and our cat. I have pain and tightness in my chest and post nasal drip
Also I have been having numbness in my left hand and fingers and both feet, I have low blood pressure

1. You seem to have a generalized disorder besides the allergy and post nasal drip.
2. Drug induced side effects such as fluoxetine can give rise to all the above symptoms. However you cannot discontinue these medications suddenly. Consult your physician to gradually taper the fluoxetine or replace it with other medication.
3. Get your blood investigations such as sugar levels, Thyroid Function Tests, hormone levels checked. Get a cardiac evaluation done. Avoid alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse.
4. Acid and bile reflux may be the cause for the tightness in the chest and the dental problems. AN anti-histamine, an anti-leukotriene and a steroid nasal spray along with regular steam inhalation will help reduce your nasal allergy.
