What Causes Itchy Hands And Feet, Diarrhea And Vomiting?
Question: my husband suffers severe itching in hands andfeet and then trows up and has severe diarrhea and is getting worse doctor says he has a thickening of his terminal ileum can that be some side effects of this problem?

Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but thickening of the ileum is not expected to cause such symptoms ..
however , itching together with diarrhea and vomiting can be due to food allergy which can be treated with an antihistaminic as citrizine once daily before going to bed to stop the itching, metoclopramide to stop the vomiting and imoduim to stop the diarrhea ..
if he experiences body swelling or difficulty breathing then you should take him to the hospital as soon as possible to take an avil and a dexamethasone injections to abort the allergic attack..
Another cause of his symptoms can be gall bladder stones but this should be accompanied with yellowish discoloration of the skin.
