Question : Hi. I have 3 acres in Oklahoma. 2 or 3 days ago,I noticed a clusters of hard,raised bumps on my right wrist. There is no redness and they haven't spread. However,they are itchy and somewhat painful. I haven't used any new soaps, detergents, or cosmetics. I wondered if this could be a dermatitis caused by poison oak,ivy,or sumac or XXXXXXX creeper but it isn't spreading and Benedryl & calamine are ineffective.

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

The symptoms you have mentioned suggestive of contact dermatitis .It might be caused by direct contact with plant poison like ivy .
We have to rule out conditions like bedbug infestation and scabies before starting the treatment.
You don't need to worry regarding this as it can be readily cured.
As a first line management you can use antihistamines and moisturiser lotions over the affected area. You can also try over the counter steroid creams like betamethasone. If symptoms persist consult a dermatologist.
