Question: I have an red itchy, burning patch of skin right above my penis within my pubic hair. It has been there for 2 months and I do not know how to get rid of it. What can I do?

Hello and thank you for your question.
From your description it sounds like you have a patch of yeast infection. I suggest tht you try lamisil (terbinafine) cream. It is the best topical antifungal and if this does not clear it up then you should see a doctor for an exam and testing. Other possible causes of such an area are dermatitis, bacterial infection or allergic skin condition.
