What Causes Itchy Red Spots On Skin?
Question: I have itchy red spots that seem to occur at night. We have fleas but these spots are larger. I have looked for and not found bed bugs. These are really itchy.
Brief Answer:
upload the picture, apply calamine lotion, take over the counter oral antihistamine
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing here.
I have gone through your query. It might be insect bite or contact dermatitis. It needs to be examined to say what it is. Kindly upload the photos to confirm.
I would suggest you not to scratch it, wash the affected part with mild soap. Apply calamine lotion, which produces soothing effect and will reduce the itching. If the itching is not reduced by this, I would suggest you to take over the counter oral antihistamine drug like lovocetirizine.
Get back with the pictures to help you better.
Take care.

the spots seem to show up in the same places. like, if they fade and go away, they come back in the same spots.
I have attached photos. Also, this morning, I had a new spot on my neck and a couple on my side. There are a few spots on my chest where it happened before, but faded and now have come back in the SAME spots. My doctor gave me Clobetasol Propionate and I've been taking Benadryl.
