What Causes Itchy Sores On Buttocks?

Question: hello,
I have been having an embarrassing problem. For about a month or two now I have had soars on both sides of my butt crack they are very itchy, and occasionally bleeds(very little amount of blood) especially I work, I work at a big retail store and am walking for about 8 hours straight. In XXXXXXX I had my gallbladder removed and was having trouble wiping for a while. I have reverted back to my old wiping methods and it has helped a little as did putting cortisone 10 on soars. The only time that I have some relief with no cream is when I am sitting, Is there something else I could be doing or do I need to make an appointment with my doctor?

Hello Dr Pathak,
I do not know if the picture uploaded or not I will do it again.
If it is fungal do you think something like monostat will work?

Brief Answer:
it looks like intertrigo
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for attaching the pic.
The pic isnt very clear but from what I could see,it is probably intertrigo.
To treat the same, you may follow these suggestions
mix a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone with antifungal like clotrimazole and antibiotic cream like fusidic acid in equal quantities and apply twice to thrice daily over affected area. Monostat is an antifungal cream, so can use in combination with a steroid and antibiotic cream
Take an antiallergic like levocetirizine 5 mg twice daily.
dust the area with antifungal powder
Keep the area dry. Do not clean the area with soap or dettol or savlon.Plain water is enough for cleaning.
Follow these suggestions atleast for a week. If this doesnt work, you should meet your doctor.
Hope this helped
