Question: Hi,

I have been sexually active.

I have discovered some spots which are causing me to itch on my legs and thighs for the past few weeks, I was wondering of these could be stds?

It is very unlikely that the rash that you have on your legs is related to a sexually transmitted disease.

More commonly, rash on the lakes is related to allergic reaction or bacterial infection or possibly a fungal infection.

I would recommend that you visit with your primary care physician for a good focused physical examination and also to determine an appropriate therapeutic plan.

most sexually transmitted disease is will present with symptoms within and around the sexual organs. In light of this I do not suspect that what you are experiencing on your legs is related to a sexually transmitted infection.
