hi doctor. sorry for being so brief. I'll answer your questions. it's been a little over a week since I was sexually active with her. the symptoms seemed to start around the 5 to 7 day period after being with her. the itching is mild but bothersome. the discharge seems to be cloudy and not very thick. I had some left over amoxicillin from my doctor. would that help if it is an std? I can't take the Z pack. it bothers my stomach. thank you

The symptoms enumerated above indicates to be related to mild Urinary tract infection (UTI) and the pain can be referred pain in abdomen.
The symptoms enumerated can also be due to stress and anxiety too. It is quite common in anxiety states and is commonly associated with vague abdominal discomfort. The discharge can be just precum and due to anxious state we start perceiving the same as you are experiencing.
I suggest you to go for urine examination complete and microscopy as a precautionary feature. You can additionally go for urine culture and sensitivity in case if any mild infection is detected and therefore if required an antibiotic can be taken accordingly.
Do not take any antibiotic by yourself as it can cause resistance to any infection if present.
I also suggest you to just relax and drink plenty of water to flush your urinary system properly. By drinking plenty of liquids not only take care of any mild infection but also clean the possibility of the infection relieve the itching.
I suggest you to drink liquids with sour content such as lime or citrus fruits. This will additionally help in taking care of the urinary system.
Do not worry you will be alright soon. Do not give any second thoughts to ex and just think of a bright and healthy future ahead.
